American Bar Association Names Executive Director and Board President

At its annual conference in Hawaii, the American Bar Association introduced its new board president as well as the new executive director/CSO. The ABA named retired Rear Admiral, lawyer, and current executive director of the Institute of International Container Lessors, Henry F. White Jr., as its new executive director/CSO, ending a year-long search. Karen J. Mathis, a business, commercial and estate planning lawyer with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter in Morristown, N.J., was elected president.
